Himesh Reshammiya’s last week released action-thriller Teraa Surroor had failed to get the expected numbers at the domestic box office. On 1st Monday, it collected Rs 1.38 crore and with this its 4 days box office collection stands at Rs 7.84 crore, which is not upto the mark.
This second installment of the franchise film received negative response from both the critics as well as the audience. The first weekend collections are the result of it. On Friday, it had opened with just Rs 1.79 crore. Saturday and Sunday were also not too good and only Rs 4.67 crores were come in its belt.
Although, this Shawn Arranha directorial had made with the paltry budget of around 15 crore, so on that note, the film might recovered its cost of production in coming days and if it will surpass that figure, there will be a strong possibility to get in some profits but for that Teraa Surroor has only 3 days to go as Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan starrer Kapoor and Sons is releasing on this coming Friday which will surely snatch the number of screens from Teraa Surroor.
On the other hand Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja is still running in the theatres after successfully completing 3 weeks and collected around Rs 50 lakhs odd on Monday that reached it to Rs 71.50 crore.
