On 5th day, the film has only collected around Rs 2.50 crore, thus taken its overall tally to Rs 31.95 crores. This is certainly a poor show by Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer superhero-based film.
Throughout the first 4 days with 2 big holidays, not even a single day, it had done a pleasing business at the box office. The growth was not like it had to be and the biggest shock was that it had seen a fall out on its second day of release.
It clearly shows that the film has not been got into the people hearts and despite the makers was promoting it as a children’s film but the results have not come out as the expectations.
The cost of production of A Flying Jatt is around Rs 50 crores and with the way it is performing, there are very lesser chances that it would recover the making cost, which means another flop venture for Ekta Kapoor, who is the lone producer of the film.
One more hurdle for A Flying Jatt is awaiting in the form of Sonakshi Sinha starrer Akira, which is hitting the silver screens on this Friday. Akira is getting lots of buzz around the fans and this would surely close all the gates for A Flying Jatt.
The lifetime total of A Flying Jatt might be around Rs 40 – 42 crores.
