A Flying Jatt is an action-comedy-drama based on superhero’s concept. Tiger Shroff is playing the character of a desi Punjabi superhero who works for the welfare of the society.
Directed by ABCD famed choreographer turned director Remo D’ Souza, A Flying Jatt has been released around 2300 screens in India and has been made with the budget of around Rs 50 crores (Rs 38 crores in Production cost plus 12 crores in P & A).
On Day one, due to big Holiday and not as much competition from the other films, A Flying Jatt received good footfalls throughout the day. The morning showed the occupancies around 30-40% which further increased in the noon and evening shows to 45%.
If we talk about the box office records, although, A Flying Jatt failed to enter the Top 10 opening day Bollywood grossers of 2016 but for Tiger Shroff, this is his second biggest opening of his career.
Tiger had made his Bollywood debut with hit film Heropanti (2014) which opened with Rs 6.5 crores. However, A Flying Jatt ha not matched up with his last release Baaghi (2016), which is his best opener with Rs 11.94 crores.
Now, after this decent start, the road ahead of A Flying Jatt would be much better. Also, it has got the advantage of extended 4 days opening weekend and it would probably come out with the pleasing numbers.
