Aamir Khan’s Dangal enters in 900 Crore club and became the first Hindi and Second Indian Film in the club after south Indian action drama Baahubali 2 (2017). Dangal’s 7 days collection at China Box Office is Rs 187.42 Crore, this is totally unbelievable and the film is on top in the highest grossing foreign language films in China.
23 December 2016 release Hindi Film Dangal scored phenomenally, the film became highest grossing Indian film in 2016 and earned Rs 386.70 Crore at domestic while more that Rs 350 Crore overseas or Rs 741 Crore worldwide then film released in China on this 5 May and received the same response and now Dangal Box Office Collection is Rs 928 Crore worldwide.
Dangal has completed a week in China and the weekend collection is totally surprising for Aamir Khan’s fans. Aamir Khan’s blockbuster film Dangal released on 5th of May this year, shared 9000 screens across China.
Nitesh Tiwari directed biographical sports drama is now all set to become a 1000 Crore worldwide Hindi Film while Baahubali 2 is the biggest blockbuste of Indian Cinema, that crossed Rs 1200 Crore worldwide.
Baahubali 2 Hindi version has crossed Rs 400 Crore while Dangal earned Rs 387 at Domestic. Both the films are historical at Box Office but we can’t compare them because of different genres. One is historical action drama and only for entertainment, another one is inspirational sports drama.
The film is inspired by a true story happened in Haryana. Aamir Khan as former Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat trains his daughter for the medals in wrestling. Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra did a great job as Aamir’s on-screen daughters.
Zaira Waseem played Geeta Phogat’s childhood role and nailed it with powerful performance. So she received national Award as best supporting actress on 2016.
