Akshay Kumar signs Mogul (Gulshan Kumar Biopic) in a Lord Shiva Temple

Akshay Kumar has started shoot for his next film Mogul: The Gushan Kumar Story (2018), is a biopic of Late Gulshan Kumar. He was the founder of most popular music and films production company T-series.

Akshay Kumar signed Mogul with Gulshan Kumar’s son Bhushan Kumar in a Shiva Temple in Indore, where they have started the shooting. Subhash Kapoor is directing this biographical drama who recently delivered a hit Jolly LLB 2 with Akshay Kumar.

Akshay Kumar and Gulshan Kumar sign Mogul: The Gulshan Kumar Story in a Shiva Temple

On 14 March, Akshay Kumar revealed through his social media accounts that he is doing Gulshan Kumar’s biopic and captioned its first look as “My association with Him began with my very first film. He was The Emperor Of Music! Now know His story… #Mogul, The Gulshan Kumar story!”.

Bhushan Kumar is producing this film under T-series said “Signing my father’s biopic inside a Shiv temple was surreal. I could feel my father’s presence with me sitting there next to the idol with Akshayji. I have no words to express what I felt“.

Gulshan Kumar’s daughter popular singer Tulsi Kumar also pleased with Mogul’s lead actor Akshay Kumar and described to media that “Akshay Kumar is very hard working and disciplined. I think he would be able to pull off the character, he is Perfect for this film“.

Gulshan Kumar’s wife Sudesh Kumari is also co-producer of this film. Formally, Akshay Kumar signed the film in an ancient Shiva Temple in Indore on Sunday. Gulshan Kumar was devout of lord Shiva, so his son Bhushan decided to sign this film in the temple.

Mogul first Look shared by Akshay Kumar

Reportedly, Shraddha Kapoor may play the lead female in Mogul: The Gulshan Kumar Story. The young popular actress will first time appear with Khiladi Kumar.

Mogul: The Gulshan Kumar Story will release in 2018, releasing date still not confirmed. Akshay Kumar officially signs Mogul in a Shiva Temple.
