Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, 73, is still one of the busiest stars of the B-Town. He will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s thriller Te3n along with Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Now, the reports coming from the sources suggest that Big B will share the screen space with Hrithik Roshan in Aditya Chopra’s production venture Thug. Big B has confirmed the news.
In a recent chat with the media, during the promotions of Te3n, Amitabh said that Aditya has signed him for his next film, but he hasn’t read the story and his role and will talk about later but the sources confirmed that the film would be Thug in which Hrithik Roshan will play a modern and high profile thief. The official announcement regarding the project will be out very soon.
Vijay Krishna Acharya of Dhoom 3 (2013) famed will direct Thug and Hrithik along with Big B will play the main leads. If it is true, then this will be the third film in which Hrithik and Amitabh will share the screen space together. Before this, both these was seen in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001) and Lakshya (2004). Both Hrithik and Big B are one of the favorite actors of Yash Raj Films and had done some really popular films.
Thug, as the name suggests will be an action-thriller and Hrithik will be seen as thief. Earlier, he had done this kind of character in YRF’s Dhoom 2 (2006) but Thug will totally different from it and you will see some mind-blowing action scenes. The film will go on the floors at the end of this year and will be ready to release sometime around 2017.
Amitabh was last seen in Wazir (2016) and his role of a handicapped was appreciated by the audience. In his next Te3n, he is also playing a crucial role of a grandfather searching for his granddaughter. Te3n is scheduled to hit the silver screens on 10th June 2016.
