Begum Jaan 1st Day Box Office Collection

The courage of Hollywood movie Fast and Furious series latest part The Fate of the Furious (2017) affected Begum Jaan 1st Day Box Office Collection and Begum Jaan also received mixed reviews from the critics and audiences.

Vidya Balan’s  period drama Begum Jaan shares 1100 screens in India and gets an average start on Friday. Punjabi star Gippy Grewal’s new release Manje Bistre also affected this film. Manje Bistre becomes Gippy’s highest opening Rs 2.25 Crore.

Vidya Balan is an acclaimed actress of Bollywood but her last releases Ghanchakkar (2013), Shaadi Ke Side Effects (2014), Bobby Jasoos (2014), Hamari Adhuri Kahani (2015), Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh (2016) failed at Box Office.

Vidya Balan’s Begum Jaan opens average at Box Office

Begum Jaan 1st Day Box Office Collection is Rs 3.94 crore is low in comparison with Anushka Sharma and Taapsee Pannu films Phillauri and Naam Shabana respectively. This is also low as compared to Vidya Balan’s previous solo films Kahani (2012) and Kahani 2 (2016).

Begum Jaan is a remake of Bengali film Rajkahini (2015) and both are directed by Srijit Mukherji and he also penned its story. The film is produced by Mukesh Bhatt under Vishesh Bhatt Films.

The film is not like we expected or missed a perfect storyline, Vidya Balan’s performance as the madam of Brothel is only thing watchable in the film. The film revolves around the post of India-Pakistan partition.

Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Ridheema Tiwary and others are in supporting roles. Naseeruddin Shah is also playing an important role of Rajaji in the film. So as per the report of Begum Jaan 1st Day Box Office Collection, we can say the film will be affected by Hollywood The Fate of the Furious and Punjabi Manje Bistre.

So our Box Office predictions for the weekend are Rs 12-15 Crore. The film is receiving so many negative reviews too.
