Big B, Sonakshi Sinha at Shatrughan Sinha’s biography Anything but Khamosh

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan launched the biography of his friend and colleague Shatrughan Sinha here in Mumbai. On this occasion, Shatrughan’s entire family including his wife Poonam Sinha, daughter and actress Sonakshi Sinha were also present.

Written by author, critic and columnist Bharathi S Pradhan, Anything but Khamosh is a journey of a financially week but enthusiastic boy belongs to Bihar, who left his native place in very young age and reached Mumbai to become actor. His dedication and hard work bring him to become one of the top most character actors of Bollywood.

This 338 page book retracts some unknown truths about India’s most popular Bihari Babu and has come out after seven years of research, 37 interviews and over 200 hours of taped conversations. Senior BJP leader and Shatrughan’s mentor Yashwant Sinha and filmmaker Subhash Ghai were also there on book launch.

According to Pradhan, Anything but Khamosh will definitely raise the bar of reading because this is the honest work done by him and Shatrughan Sinha. This is one of the most honest biographies of the country.

His daughter Sonakshi Sinha read out few excerpt from the book and said that his father is the real hero for her and this book will show you exactly what kind of personality he is and how different he is compared to his outer image shown in media and his films.

Amitabh Bachchan, with home Shatrughan shared the screen space in some of the most iconic films of Hindi cinema like Kala Pathar and Dostana is overwhelmed to get the opportunity to launch his book. Big B said that Shatrughan is his one of the oldest friends in Bollywood and he always respects him as a human being he is.

Amitabh took to Twitter to share the pictures from the book launch and wrote that a pleasant evening of humour banter recollections from Shatrughan Sinha’s biography release as chief guest.
