Sunny Deol starrer ‘Ghayal Once Again’ is kept steady on its 1st Tuesday at the Indian box office. As compared to Monday, the collections on Tuesday have seen a little drop out and it fetched Rs 2.70 crore. Now the total 5 days collections of the film have reached to Rs 29.55 crore.
‘Ghayal Once Again’, that had not shown a healthy weekend as that was expected from the makers, the weekdays are also similar and doesn’t show some really big lapses required by the film.
The Tuesday collections are giving the strong indications about the future of this action-packed film directed and written by Sunny Deol. It seems that the coming days follow the similar trends and the film will fall down further to some extent.
Moreover, another big film ‘Fitoor’ starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif is hitting the screen on this Friday which might end the doors for ‘Ghayal Once Again. ‘Sanam Re’ is also releasing on the same day, so ‘Ghayal Once Again’ will surely lose the screens which ultimately costs heavily.
This second installment of ‘Ghayal’ has made up of budget around Rs 40 to 50 crore and the present scenario of the film suggests that it is very difficult for the film to surpass that mark. Its lifetime collections would be around Rs 35 to 40 crore.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Airlift’ is still doing superb at the box office. The film which has completed successful three weeks is now heading towards Akshay’s biggest grosser of his career. On Tuesday, the film had collected around Rs 1 crore and now, its total collections are now Rs 122 crore. Till date, Akshay’s biggest film was Rowdy Rathore (2012) that had done the business of Rs 131 crore and it seems that in the coming few days, it will definitely surpassed that figure.
Globally, ‘Airlift’ has already crossed Rs 200 crore and still counting fantastic specially in gulf countries.
