Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan has finally crossed the 80 crore mark at the domestic box office in its 2nd Monday. Its poor run continues in its third week, this Maneesh Sharma directorial has just managed to collect around Rs 1 crore on the 2nd Monday and taking its toll to Rs 80.25 crore.

Despite its massive worldwide release of around 3500 odd screens, the makers had expected to shatter all the box office records, but surprisingly this film in which Shah Rukh Khan has played dual characters failed to impress the audience due to its different nature. However, Fan took a very good start in its maiden weekend but after that it crashed dramatically and since then it hasn’t picked up not even a single day.

If we talk about the overseas report, it still holds really well at the International circles. After the end of 10 days, Fan has collected Rs 61.35 crore which is very nice as compared to the Indian market which is the home country of Shah Rukh. It has majorly gained from USA (Rs 11.15 crore), England and Ireland (Rs 6.63 crore), Canada (Rs 2.48 crore) and Rs 68 lakhs from New Zealand. It means that the overseas fans of SRK loves Fan than the domestic audience which is surprising fact.

Overall, YRF’s Fan has fetched more than Rs 175 crore gross including overseas plus domestic figures but it still not reflecting the true plight of the film which is fighting for its survival.

Day by day, the box office numbers of Fan is declining heavily and with the way it is going, the lifetime collections of Fan in India would stop in between Rs 90 to 100 crore that would surely the biggest shock for Shah Rukh and his fans.

The next uphill task for Fan is to recover its cost of production i.e. Rs 105 crore but it will be very difficult to cross that mark because Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Baaghi is knocking at the door on this coming Friday.
