Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt starrer family-drama Kapoor and Sons has crossed the 150 crore mark in its 4th week. It is such a big feat for this Karan Johar productions venture which has so far collected more than Rs 70 crore from Indian box office.
According to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Kapoor and Sons has crossed 150 crore (gross) which includes Rs 104 crore from India and the rest of Rs 46.70 crore from the overseas market. Now, Kapoor and Sons becomes third film of the year to cross this mark of 150 crore. Before this, Akshay Kumar starrer Airlift and Sonam Kapoor’s biographical film Neerja had attained this magical figure at the box office.

Kapoor and Sons is the story of a modern age family who are surrounded by various social problems. Sidharth and Fawad Khan have played brothers while Rishi Kapoor is the grandfather of these two. People are still giving immense love to the film and it is running in many theatres.
Currently Neerja stands at the second position of highest grossing films of the year but with the way Kapoor and Sons is going in its week 4, it will certainly crossed Neerja collections by the end of this week.
On the other hand, last week released only Bollywood film Love Games failed to impress the audience and crashed at the box office. On Monday it only adds Rs1.04 crore and just reached to Rs 4.76 crore that is very poor show of this erotic-thriller.
Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Ki and Ka has collected Rs 1.01 crore to its total and after its second week, the film stands on Rs 46.82 crore. Its next target is to reach 50 crore mark and by the end of this week, it will become fourth film of the year to achieve this figure.
