Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Ki and Ka have shown a fantastic opening weekend at the domestic box office. This romantic-drama has collected Rs 9.25 crore on Sunday and with this the total first weekend collections of Ki and Ka is reached to a whopping total of Rs 25.23 crore.

This R.Balki directorial has now become third highest opening weekend grosser of the year after Akshay Kumar’s Airlift (Rs 44.30 crore), and Karan Johar’s family drama Kapoor and Sons (Rs26.35 crore). This is simply magnificent a feat for this film, which had got mixed reviews from the critics.
If we talk about the collections in split, Ki and Ka had opened very well with Rs 7.30 crore. Saturday had also got overwhelming response from the film and it had fetched Rs.8.41 crore. Sunday was a big holiday and the makers were expecting this the biggest day for the film and it too didn’t disappoint them and got in Rs 9.52 crore.

This is something very unbelievable numbers despite its limited reached in the big metros. The subject of the film is very niche that favorable to the multiplexes audience but this kind of footfall is simply ecstatic for everyone.
So, Ki and Ka got the momentum it required and now all it needs is to just maintain this steady run at the box office that will result in some more better results in the coming first week.
