Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadda starrer Sarabjit keeps steady on its 1st Tuesday at the domestic box office. On its 5th day, the film collected Rs 2.10 crore and now it has reached to a total of Rs 18.14 crore.
Made with the budget of around Rs 23 crore, this Omung Kumar directorial film is based on the life of Indian farmer Sarabjit and got rave reviews from the critics. Specially, the performances of Aish and Randeep really liked by the audience, but because of the fact that this is not a hardcore commercial film, that’s why the box office results are not ticking up well. On 1st Monday, Sarabjit collected Rs 2.09 crore and on Tuesday it shows a slight growth which is commendable as this is a low budget film.
Earlier we mentioned in previous posts that there will not be any new releases in the coming week that means Sarabjit has a very good chance to get in as much as possible but for that it should be kept steady throughout the week with decent growth. However, it is pretty sure that Sarabjit will go past its making cost in this week and then try to make possible some revenues for the producers.
As per the box office records, Sarabjit’s is currently on its way to catch up the box office collections of Aishwarya’s last released Jazbaa, which finished its week one with Rs 21.58 crore.
