With the new releases including Rajinikanth’s Kabali, Sultan has now on the slower side. This Salman Khan starrer blockbuster film has entered in its 4th week and on 3rd Monday, it has collected Rs 1.30 crore and taking its toll to Rs 290.35 crores from Indian box office.
Although, the collections are now deteriorating due to decrease in the number of screens and the huge buzz about South Indian superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali, Sultan still holds on really well and managed to cross 290 crore mark, which is exceptionally appreciating.
Many films this year not even able to collect on its 1st Monday which Sultan took home in its 4th Monday. In overseas too, the magic of Salman Khan is same as on day one.
So far, Sultan has collected Rs 151.95 crores from the abroad and positioned at 7th place of highest overseas Bollywood grossers behind Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name is Khan (Rs 154 crores).
Sultan worldwide collections have also crossed 550 crore mark and it currently stands on 3rd place with Rs 558.44 crores behind PK (Rs 792 crores) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 626 crores).
Now, it is interesting to see whether Sultan will become Hindi film to enter 300 crore club or not. For this, it has to show some growth because Varun Dhawan and John Abraham starrer Dishoom is hitting the screens this Friday which might affect its chance to cross this mark.

On the hand, sensational Tamil action-drama Kabali’s dream run is as it is on first Monday. The Hindi version of Kabali has brought in Rs 2.25 crore and taking its 4 days toll to Rs 15.50 crores.
Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka as expected the biggest money spinners for Kabali, thus in four days, this Pa. Ranjith directorial has minted around Rs 134.24 crores. Kabali’s worldwide collections in 4 days crossed 250 crores mark, that is itself showing the madness about the Thalaiva Rajinikanth among millions of his fans.
