The chef is an official remake of Hollywood film Chef (2014) but too different in Hindi version where Saif Ali Khan plays a divorced man starts his own food truck with his 12-13-year-old son played by Svar Kamble. Akshay Kumar’s Airlift (2016) acclaimed director Raja Krishna Menon directed and co-produced the film under T-series. The both Saif Ali Khan and Padmapriya Janakiraman did the brilliant job in lead roles.
