Chennai Express (2013) writer K. Subaash is no more

Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer blockbuster Chennai Express writer K. Subaash passes away on Wednesday 23rd of November 2016. The writer was suffering from kidney failure and took his last breath at SRM Hospital, Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu.

Tamil filmmaker K. Subaash is highly popular in Bollywood for his successful Hindi Films Chennai Express and Housefull 3. K. Subaash started his film career as an assistant director and made several Tamil films later as a writer and director.

He started his career in 1987 and assist veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam in Tamil film Nayagan. According to sources, the writer was on Dialysis for few last years. Tamil Film Industry celebs tweeting about him.

He gained fame in Bollywood through Rohit Shetty directed action comedy film Chennai Express (2013), was one of the most highest grossing films of that year.

K Subaash directed Hindi film Insan (2005) was failed to get success and received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. An ensemble star cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Rahul Dev, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol and other are in key roles in Insan.
