Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan teamed up with Vishal Bhardwaj, Honey Trehan

Piku (2015) actors Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan teamed up with Vishal Bhardwaj, Honey Trehan. Their next film will produce by Vishal Bhardwaj and KriArj Entertainment and famous casting director and assistant director Honey Trehan will direct them.

Deepika Padukone is going to play a female gangster in her next untitled film will be directed by Honey Trehan. The film will be based on a real life lady don Rahima Khan aka Sapna Didi.

Vishal Bhardwaj also penned this movie inspired from Mafia Queens of Mumbai, a book written by famous author Hussain Zaidi. Irrfan Khan will play the role of gangster Sapna Didi’s husband in this film.

Deepika Padukone will first time work with promising filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj. The actress is currently in busy with Historical drama Padmavati (2017) schedule. Now she has two leading projects in 2017.

KriArj Entertainment is going to produce this film along with Vishal Bhardwaj. The production company delivered super hit Rustom (2016). Vishal Bhardwaj’s last film Rangoon didn’t will at Box Office.

Topmost Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and skilled actor Irrfan Khan are collaborating for the second time. And Deepika Padukone will play a lead role once again. Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan were in supporting roles in Piku (2015).

Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan’s this untitled film’s shoot will start very soon and expect to be released at the end of 2017. Irrfan Khan’s next release is social drama Hindi Medium directed by Saket Chaudhury. Hindi Medium is coming very soon on 12th of May this year.
