Rohit Dhawan’s action-adventure flick Dishoom has a splendid second weekend at the box office. Varun Dhawan and John Abraham starrer has collected Rs 10.05 crore on 2nd weekend and reached its total collections Rs 63.39 crores.
With this, Dishoom is now become 8th highest grosser of 2016 surpassing the lifetime total of Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt featured Udta Punjab, which grossed Rs 59.60 crore from Indian box office.
With almost zero faces off with the new releases, Dishoom has picked up really well from Friday onwards. On Friday, it had collected Rs 2.30 crore. Saturday also shows a healthy growth and the single day collections reached to Rs 3.40 crore.
Sunday was the big Holiday for Dishoom supported by the auspicious occasion of Friendship Day. The end result also complemented and Sunday was the best weekend day for Dishoom with Rs 4.35 crore came in.
Now, it is interesting to see whether Dishoom will match up with the next target of Kapoor and Sons (Rs 73 crores) and grabbed the 7th spot or not.
At the worldwide level, Dishoom has crossed the 100 crore mark in 9 days, that is a phenomenal achievement. Dishoom currently grosses Rs 103.13 crores at the worldwide box office collections which include 20 plus crores from overseas market.
