Varun and John will be first time sharing the silver screens together in Dishoom

The story of Dishoom revolves around a top Indian batsman Viraj (Saquib Saleem), who has been kidnapped by some unknown persons in the middle ease country. After this huge mishappening, Indian authorities kicks off a mission to bring back Viraj in 36 hours. Kabir (John Abraham), who is a police officer of intelligence has given this responsibility and he has been accompanied by middle east security officer Junaid Ansari (Varun Dhawan).

In between so much action and drama, the biggest twist came when the entry of Rahul aka Vagha (Akshaye Khanna) makes sudden turn out in the story. Now the biggest question is whether Kabir and Junaid will find out Viraj? This you would know after watching the film.

The Script of Dishoom is very week and you will surely remind the plot of Dhoom series where cops chase the thieves. There are so many moments come which are totally away from reality. Although, direction, and cinematography are fantastic. Plus the iconic locations of the middle east will definitely mesmerize you.

The crispy and catchy dialogues written by Hussain Dalal will also create humor, especially those comic one-liners and phrases used by the main leads are boiling. But the climax of Dishoom is not good as expected. You might get disappoint with the fading climax.

Varun and John have performed pretty well according to their characters. The biggest surprise for the fans will be the appearance of Akshaye Khanna after many years. You feel good to see him on the silver screens. Jacqueline Fernandez doesn’t have much to do in the film and she looks average.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s cameo appearance will be a sweet treat for his fans. Rest of the star cast have performed well.

Weak Points:

As I said earlier, Dishoom’s lacks a good story and a thunderous climax. Both story and climax have played a vital role in a film’s success and both have failed to acclimatize by the makers. Only high-end action sequences and foreign locations do not work. If half of the hard work, which the makers had done in promoting Dishoom would have been put on story, it will be the different story altogether.

Music of Dishoom has already created lots of buzz. Almost every track of Dishoom becomes big hit among the fans and the item number Jaaneman Aah by Parineeti Chopra is ice on the cake.

Last Words:

If you are diehard fans of Varun and John plus loves to see iconic locations in big screen, then you can watch it for once, otherwise give it a miss. Don’t go to expect a hardcore thriller.

My Ratings to Dishoom is 2 out of 5 stars.
