Director: Vikram Bhatt
Star cast: Patralekha, Tara Alisha Berry, Gaurav Arora and Heten Tejwani
Genre: Erotic-thriller
Duration: 1 Hour 54 minutes
Rating: 2 out of 5 stars

Director Vikram is known for his erotic thrillers like Ghulam (1998) and Raaz (2002). In between, he became expert of making horror films like 1920 (2008) and Creature 3D (2014). Again he is back with his new erotic-thriller Love Games comprising a complete new star cast.

Love Games is the story of Ramona (Patralekha) and his husband Sameer Saxena (Gaurav Arora). They are rich but not happy with their life and want to have something new and different. Once they know about a group called Swinger. They joined this group and play the game of break ups between the couples. In between this love game, Sameer falls in love with Alisha (Tara Alisha Berry) which doesn’t like by Ramona. With the number of twist and turns, finally the film is moving towards its erotic climax that you will know after watching the film.

Vikram’s thinking about this story is very commendable that is about the swingers but somehow he failed to implement what he wants to be. He has also tried his best to come out with the thinking of a selected group of our society with the help of intimate scenes. The speed of the film is very slow which should have been fast and also Vikram Bhatt could add some more twists in the middle portion of the film. One more thing to add that it is very difficult to find out whether the aim of the story is to take revenge or what but there are number of hot scenes in the film which might impress you a bit. Beautiful locations are also a plus point of the film.

Modern turned actor Gaurav Arora has done a tremendous work in the film and he is only actor in the film looking serious about his work. Tara Alisha has also given his best while Heten Tejwani has nothing to more as his role is very short. Patralekha, who was last seen in City Lights as a Rajasthani women has transformed in glamorous avatar which looks good but not best.

Music and songs are always integral part of any Bollywood film but here you will not impress with the low quality compositions which will not attract you.

Last Words:

As I said earlier this is an honest effort of Vikram Bhatt to make this erotic –thriller to above par level but the execution is not according to the expectations. People who are expecting Love Games similar to last year’s hit film Hate Story 3 might disappoint. Even Vikram Bhatt’s fans have to think twice before moving to the theaters. Wait for another week because Shah Rukh Khan is coming with his biggest release of the year Fan on 15th of April.

My Ratings to Love Games is 2 out of 5 stars.
