Gurgaon First Look: Anurag Kashyap Launched The Poster feat. Akshay Oberoi, Ragini Khanna

The debutant director Shanker Raman has penned and directed a true event based thriller film called Gurgaon inspired by a father-son story, sets of Gurgaon. Ace filmmaker Anurag Kashyap praised this story and launched the poster on Wednesday. The film will mark the debut of National Award winning cinematographer Shanker Raman.

Theater artist Pankaj Tripathi is playing the role of the father (Kehri Singh), who is a real estate baron runs his business named Preet Real Estate, Preet is his daughter plays by Ragini Singh. The film is produced by Nil Battey Sannata producers JAR Pictures and Alan McAlex.

Gurgaon First Look quoted in Hindi “Yahan Kisi Ki Guaranty Na Hai” and also revealed the releasing date 4th of August this year, will face the clash with big starer romantic drama Jab Harry Met Sejal stars Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in leads roles.

Akshay Oberoi is playing lead male in the film said: “The story is about a strained relationship between a father and a son, set in the fastest growing city in India, Gurgaon“. The actor appeared in many short movies but this is debut in Hindi feature film after which he will be seen in Saif Ali Khan’s Kaalakaandi.

Gurgaon lead actress Ragini Khanna is very popular Tv actress is best known for her comic roles in Comedy Nights with Kapil and Punjabi film Bha Ji in Problem (2013). After Gurgaon, she will be next seen in acting poerhouseNawazuddin Siddiqui’s Ghoomketu.
