Top 10 Highest Opening day (1st day) Grossers of 2016

If we talk about the opening day box office numbers, Salman Khan starrer Sultan, which had released on this Eid 2016, has shattered all the box office records of this year and opened with record Rs 36.54 crore. Then all time blockbuster Dangal took second place.Shushant Singh Rajput starrer biopic of M.S Dhoni left Akshay’s Airlift and Rustom and makes the place at third in the list of Top 10 Highest Opening day (1st day) Grossers of 2016.

Let’s find out the Bollywood’s top 10 highest opening day grosser of 2016 and see which film is placed in which position.

At the moment, this list of Top 10 first day grossers of 2016 is shuffling rapidly. After M.S. Dhoni, Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan is positioned in 3rd place.

Akshay Kumar movies Rustom, Airlift still on top of the highest grossing Bollywood films of 2016 with Rs 127.13 crore, Rs 127.80 crore respectively placed in 2nd and 3rd position in highest grossing of 2016. Airlift is also the only film of 2016 that entered the much coveted 100 crore club.

Shahrukh starrer Fan stands at 3rd position with a figure of Rs 19.20 crore on opening day Box-office collection.

Akshay Kumar’s Housfull-3 and  Rustom are on 4th and 5th position in the List of Highest Opening day Grossers of 2016 at Box office with the figure of 15.21 and 14.11 crore respectively.

Karan Johar‘s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil beats Ajay Devgn‘s Shivaay and open with 13.30 Cr. Next, in line Airlift opened very well,  featuring Akshay Kumar and Illeana D’cruz. It has opened with Rs 12.35 crore.

Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer romantic-action film Baaghi which got an ideal start on Day one with Rs 11.94 crore.

John Abraham, Varun Dhawan, and Jacqueline Fernandez  starrer  Dishoom currently stands at 9th position with taking a fantastic opening of Rs 11.05 crore.

The last places are currently occupied by Dishoom (11.05 crore), Befikre (10.36 crore)

    i don’t know why people are mad to watch movies like Dabang, Dangal, Wanted, Singham….. Airlift, Pan Singh Tomar, Baby, Rustom are watchable watch and know the real stories
