Ittefaq Day 6 Box Office Collection: The Murder Mystery Is Struggling

When legendary filmmaker late B R Chopra Sahab’s grandson Abhay Chopra debuted through a film which was produced by him in 1969, critics loved Abhay’s direction but audiences choose action and comedy films over this suspense thriller and his film is struggling at Box Office.

Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha’s Ittefaq is the remake of Ittefaq (1969) starred Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Iftekhar reprise by Akshaye Khanna. B R Chopra’s younger brother and great filmmaker late Yash Chopra directed this movie which was also a remake of a Hollywood film Signpost to Murder (1965).

Ittefaq (1969) was a semi hit and Indian Cinema’s first superstar Rajesh Khanna’s 17th consecutive hits, Yash Chopra Sahab won Filmfare Award for best direction, Rajesh Khanna won the Best actor award, Nanda best actress and Bindu Best supporting actress by Filmfare Awards.

The whodunit mystery Ittefaq stars Sidharth Malhotra, Akshaye Khanna and Sonakshi Sinha also appreciated for their performances but the film faced the clash with Thor Ragnarok and Golmaal like films which most of the audiences love to watch today.

Ittefaq Day 6 Box Office Collection

Ittefaq Day 6 Box Office Collection is around Rs 1.70 Crore and now the total is Rs 22 Crore in 6 Days mean this suspense thriller is doing average or below average business. Ittefaq is a controlled budget film if this film will do Rs 30-15 Crore business will be called above average.

As per the Box Office Collection report of last six days, Ittefaq is doing around Rs 30-32 Crore business means average. Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha is this biggest low budget hit of this year earned Rs 134 Crore at domestic while its budget was just 22-25 Crore.

    Cinematography is really good. Sidharth has improved his acting.

    Good performance and sharp direction. I can say that it is better than old Ittefaq.
