Kangana played the lead character in the various women-centered movie like “Queen” and “Tanu Weds Manu” and got widely praised for her outstanding performance. In an interview Kangana side that her characters are flawed and human in terms of their abilities but in this movie she is playing an extraordinary role. The queen of Bollywood expressed her feeling that she is so lucky that she is doing any such film.
Film director Krish has given a super hit movie in 2015 Gabbar is Back, starring Akshay Kumar in lead role and he has also directed many remarkable movies in Telugu and Tamil. The Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is going to be grand action sequences with good content and high-class performance. Kangana is being a perfect match for portraying the character of Rani Laxmibai and ones again she is going make whole of it.

The Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi shoot is set in Varanasi, Maheshwaram, Jhansi and Rajasthan and scheduled to release on 27 April next year. The first look poster of the movie was released by Kangana on Thursday and took a dip in the Ganga before unveiling the poster.
