Kangana Ranaut is very well known for her fearless personality and never shies to speak about truth and facts. Now she openly speaks at Melange lifestyle event about Sexual Harassment Case on her blockbuster film Queen (2015) director Vikas Bahl.
A few days ago, a young woman filed a sexual harassment case against Phantom films co-founder Vikas Bahl. That woman is an employee at film production company Phantom Films, claimed that Bahl molested her a few months ago during Goa Tour.
Four Indian filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl, Madhu Mantena founded the Phantom Films in 2011 but now Vikas Bahl was forced exit due to this scandal.
When reporters ask Kangana Ranaut about this matter, she said “whoever faces such situations and speaks up, is courageous. Generally speaking, they should be encouraged to talk about it by their family, colleagues. They should not be shamed. Obviously, there will always be another side to the other story. But people should speak up, whether it is right or wrong“.
Reportedly, female co-founder of Phantom Films Madhu is leaving this company after Vikas Bahl case. Vikas Bahl works as a director, producer, writer in Bollywood and acclaimed for his films. He directed National Award winning Chillar Party (2011), blockbuster Queen (2014), and Shaandaar (2015).
Kangana said everyone should raise their voice against these kinds of cases wherever girls facing this problem at the workplace. Her career got boost after Queen (2014) for which she also received National Award, but she spoke against director Vikas Bahl because that’s the fact.
Kangana’s next solo film is Simran and then she is to play Jhansi Ki Rani in Rani Laxmibai’s biopic will be directed by Krish. The actress is also learning horse riding and fencing for her role in the film.
