Manto First Look Poster ft. Nawazuddin Siddiqui

At 70th Cannes Film Festival, Manto First Look Poster ft. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been launched and the actor’s writer avatar is looking impressive. The film is based on an Indo-Pakistani writer Saadat Hasan Manto who penned several short stories.

Pakistani actor-director Sarmad Khoosat already made this biographical drama film in 2015. Now ambitious Indian actress-director Nandita Das directed the film on mano’s life. She acclaimed for political thriller Firaaq (2008) and that’s the only film directed by her.

Manto (2017) is the second directional film of Nandita Das. Rasika Dugal is lead actress along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui while an ensemble star cast including, Rishi Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Ranveer Shorey, Paresh Rawal and Swanand Kirkire are playing important roles in the film.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to deliver another powerful performance. The film is directed by Nandita Das, produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, HP Studios, and FilmZtoc.

The versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has worked as supporting actor, villainous characters, and lead actor. This is the second biographical drama that he is going to lead after acclaimed Majhi: The Mountain Man (2015).

Nawaz will be next seen in Sabbir Khan directed dance drama Munna Michael along with Tiger Shroff and the finest actor will also shake his legs with best actor-dancer Tiger Shroff.

The biographical Hindi drama Manto is the story of great writer Saadat Hasan Manto was born on May 11, 1912, in Samrala, Ludhiana, Punjab and died at the early age of 42 on 18 January 1955 in Lahore, Punjab. Toba Tek Singh and Thanda Gosht are most popular stories penned by him.
