This Friday release Noor failed to impress both critics and audiences. Sonakshi Sinha’s second solo film Noor is a comedy-drama directed by Sunhil Sippy and adaption of a novel Karachi, You’re Killing Me! penned by Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz.
Sonakshi Sinha did a good job as a journalist in the film but its story missed many interesting things. 21 April release this film neither received positive reviews from critics nor opened well at Box Office.
Noor 1st Day Box Office Collection is just Rs 1.54 Crore from 1450 screens. It’s lowest compared to other actresses’ film. Anushka Sharma’s Phillauri opened well Rs 4.02 Crore, Taapsee Pannu’s Naam Shabana opened great Rs 5.12 Crore and Vidya Balan’s Begum Jaan opened average Rs 3.02 Crore.

This is also very low as composed to Sonakshi Sinha’s first solo film where she impressed the audiences with action avatar in Akira. That film earned Rs 5.15 Crore on the first day and Rs 28.69 Crore Lifetime Box Office Collection in India.
So as per the report of Noor 1st Day Box Office Collection, we can say Sonakshi Sinha’s this solo movie will not break her own record (Akira- Rs 28.69 Crore).
The film has only one week to score more and more money because 2017’s biggest films Baahubali: The Conclusion is all set to release next Friday. So Noor needs a major jump in the weekend and that can happen.
Raveena Tandon starrer crime thriller film Maatr is another release of 21st April and that is also receiving mixed reviews. So the fist weekend can bring a good number for Noor.
Noor is directed by Sunhil Sippy and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra. Purab Kohli, Kanan Gill, Shibani Dandekar, Manish Chaudhary are playing important roles in the film.
