Padmaavat Day 2 Box Office Collection: The Period Drama Rules Box Office

Despite bans in four states and several regions, Deepika Padukone’s Padmaavat released on 25th of January 2018 and received rave reviews from critics and audiences. On 24th of January, Padmaavat collected Rs 5.00 Crore from previews screenings.

Then Padmaavat earned Rs 19 Crore on Thursday and became highest opener of New Year 2018, strong word of mouth helped the film and jumped so high on Republic Day. Undoubtedly, the film will break several records over the weekend has come.

Padmaavat Day 2 Box Office Collection is Rs 32 Crore and breaks all January releases Box Office collection record till the day. Zareen Khan and Karan Kundra’s horror film 1921 was highest grosser in 2018 while Padmaavat crosses its total on opening day.

Padmaavat is the most controversial film was initially scheduled to release on 17th November, postponed several times and finally released on 25th of January but several Rajput Groups, Karni Sena, Hindu Yuva Vahini protest against so several shows canceled on the first day.

Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji nailed the character and Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor beautifully portrait King Maharawal Ratan Singh and Rani Padmini. The genius film personality Sanjay Leela Bhansali proved himself and his class music increase the beauty of this period drama.

An expensive period drama Padmaavat budget is around Rs 190 Crore and the film crosses 55 Crore in two days and now it seems the film will reach a huge number at Indian Box Office.
