Bollywood’s ‘Desi Girl‘ Priyanka Chopra, who is no more desi now with her International success as a global icon, has recently celebrated 12 years of her hit comedy film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004).
Along with the poster, Priyanka also wrote a thank you note which reads, Still one of my favourite movies…#12yearsofmujhseshadikarogi.Thank you, everyone, who loved it. Salman, Akshay, David Sir, Sajid, Amrish Puri and everyone involved.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and written by Anees Bazmee, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi is called as one of the immensely popular and successful comedy films of Bollywood, that received so much love from the audience.

The film was inspired by the Hollywood film Anger Management starring Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. Salman and Akshay played the character of Sameer and Sunny, who are good friends but their love interest is same i.e. Rani (Priyanka). Due to this rift, there are so much laughing moments and humour happened in the film which makes it so funny and interesting.
Mujhse Shaadi Karogi was among the highest-grossing films of the year with $8.4 million came in from global markets. This was also the first film of Priyanka with Salman Khan. Later on, this beautiful on-screen pair had seen in several movies.
Meanwhile, Priyanka, who is currently in U.S to shoot the second season of her relatively popular American Television thriller show Quantico, hasn’t sigh any fresh Bollywood film due to her busy International schedule.
The shooting of her first Hollywood film Baywatch has already wrapped up and will hit the screens on 19th May 2017.
