Pictures: Salman Khan breaks down at Rajjat Barjatya’s prayers meet

Superstar Salman Khan, who is known as Dabangg Khan also have an emotional side, which unlike seen on several occasions. Yesterday also,  the environment got heavy when Salman had broken down at the prayer meet of his friend and CEO of Rajshri media Rajjat Barjatya, who died on Saturday.

Rajjat Barjatya, brother of ace filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya was died on Saturday due to long term illness due to cancer. He was admitted in Jaslok Hospital Mumbai for the past 12 days before took last breathe on Saturday.

Rajjat was so close to Salman, whose association with Rajshri Productions was of more than 25 years. Salman’s career first blockbuster film Maine Pyar Kia (1989) was with Rajshri. After that the relationship between them got prolonged and Salman has been an integral part of  Rajshri Productions in films like Hum Apke Hain Kon (1994), Hum Sath Sath Hain (1999) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo ( 2015).

Rajjat was handling the digital platform of Rajshri Productions and because of his efforts, the last Rajshri film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo became one of the all-time blockbusters of Hindi film industry with more than 250 crore box office collections across the globe.

Yesterday,a prayer’s meet had been organized by Barjatya family at their house in Mumbai where several faces from film fraternity include Boman Irani, Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Richa Chadda, Shirish Kunder and Subhash Ghai were seen showing their grief.

Salman, was also reached and suddenly brokes down with Sooraj Barjatya on his side. The environment around the venue got heavy and everyone presented there couldn’t stop their tears on the sudden demise of Rajjat.
