India’s champion Badminton player PV Sindhu, who yesterday made every Indian proud after becoming first Indian woman who won the Silver medal in Olympics has received millions of cheering and blessings from all corners of the country. Superstar Salman Khan has also congratulated Sindhu for creating history at Rio Olympics.
Salman also took to his Twitter handle and shared a picture of him with Sindhu before she left for the Rio. He wrote, Saw the finals on TV with my mom and told her I have a picture with Sindhu. Proud.
Salman Khan had been appointed as the brand ambassador by Indian Olympic Association to motivate the Indian contingent of athletes, who has represented the country in the biggest arena of sports.
Since then, Salman had been regularly motivating each and every player through his tweets and various other promotional events organized for the athletes.

Yesterday, the nerves of every countryman come to the threshold point when Sindhu started his fight in the woman singles finals for the Gold medal. Although, Sindhu already confirmed Silver medal after reaching the finals but like every Indian, she was not satisfied with Silver and hunted for Gold.
Her match was against the World number 1 Badminton player Carolina Marin of Spain. Sindhu gave a superlative effort in the match and almost inched closer to become first Indian woman to won individual Gold but she missed narrowly and defeated by 21-19, 11-21 and 17-21.
However, Sindhu won millions of hearts and becomes the hero of the nation. The entire nation including the celebrities started giving tribute to this golden girl of the country.
