Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has just reached to Jodhpur lower court where the next hearing of the black bug case has to be commenced shortly.
It is known that Salman has been accused under arms act of killing scarce black bug in 1998 during the shooting of one of his films.
On October, 2nd 1998, a case had been registered against Salman and the other co-stars in killing of black bug, Pouching of black bug is illegally ban in India.
The black bug case started during the shooting of Suraj Barjatya’s 1998 family drama Hum Sath Sath Hain.
The film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam, Sonali Bendre Karishma Kapoor and Mohnish Bahl in lead roles.
Two more complaints had been registered against Salman which includes possession of expired license weapon. On 12th October, 1998, he had been arrested but came out on bail after 5 days.
Later on, he had been accused by chief magistrate on 17th February 2006 and sent to Jodhpur Jail. On April, 10, 2006 lower court announced its decision and put on 5 years of imprisonment along with the surcharge of Rs 25000.
After that Jodhpur High court granted him bail and he came out. Since then, this case has been going on and Salman had presented many times for his hearing.
Salman is currently busy in his upcoming wrestling based film Sultan in which he is playing a Haryanvi wrestler.
In Sultan Anushka Sharma is his leading lady in the film. Sultan is scheduled to hit the screens on Eid 2016.
