Kick (2014) was one of the biggest blockbusters of superstar Salman Khan. This Sajid Nadiadwala directorial had went on to induct into the top 5 highest grossing Hindi films with Rs 377 crores worldwide box office collections. Now its second installment titled Kick 2 has been announced and will go on the floors in 2017.

Kick was the debut film of Sajid Nadiadwala as a director and was originally a Telugu remake of the same name. The film had starred Salman and Jacqueline Fernandez in the main leads.
Now Sajid Nadiadwala is working on its sequel. According to Sajid, he is currently working on its script. While the original one was the remake of a Tamil film but this one will be the fresh script, so he has lots of pressure on his team to make it best. His team is working very hard on the script and hopefully the he will start the film in 2017.
Although, Salman has been already locked for the male lead but Sajid is still hunting for the female lead. While Jacqueline was played the female lead in Kick, the sequel will not feature her. The actresses which are in the queue for the project include Kriti Sanon, Amy Jackson and Sonakshi Sinha with whom Salman had earlier worked in superhit films like Dabangg (2010) and Dabangg 2 (2012).
Well, this is the very delightful news for Salman fans who are eagerly waiting to see him again as Devil, his character’s name in Kick. Currently, Sallu is busy in the shooting of his next film Sultan, which is based on wrestling. He is playing the role of a Haryanvi wrestler Sultan Ali Khan. Anushka Sharma is playing the role opposite to him in the film.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Sultan is set to hit the screens on 6th July 2016.
