India’s most popular playback singer Sonu Nigam goes bald live on National Television over Azaan controversy. The singer clarified his tweet that he is not anti-Muslim or he is not in support of loudspeakers in Mosques, Temples, and Gurdwaras.
A Kolkata-based Maulvi Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Qadri issued a reward against the singer and put Rs 10 Lakh prize for who will shave Singer’s head. Now the singer chooses a Muslim celebrity hairstylist and shaved head during a press conference.

On 17th April, Sonu Nigam tweeted back to back over Azaan he first said “God bless everyone. I’m not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India”.
According to the singer, he raised his voice on a social topic, his intention was not to hurt any religion. So he replied cleric on National television. The most successful and popular Indian singer did several tweets to clarified his statement over the controversy.
After reward by a West Bengal cleric, Sonu Nigam said so many things in his favor in a press conference. The matter is going very sensitive day by day. Many Hindi and Muslim citizens have spoken against the singer. Twitter users are also trolling him after shaved the head on television.
Sonu Said he loves Hindu-Muslim and all religious people, so he didn’t speak against any religion. Before this press meet, he twitted and said “Today at 2pm Aalim will come to my place, and shave my head. Keep your 10 lakhs ready Maulavi”:
