Sultan 36th Day box office collections: Grosses over 584 crore at worldwide box office

Salman Khan’s Sultan has already crossed the 300 crore mark at the box office on its 35th day and becomes the third film to do so. On its 36th day, this sports drama has collected Rs 15 lakhs and reached to the total of Rs 300.21 crore at the domestic box office.

Sultan has now towards its last leg and due to two big films Rustom and Mohenjo Daro are coming on Tomorrow, which will force it to wrap up its lifetime run at the box office.

Overall, Sultan has so far collected Rs 584.08 crores which include Rs 420 crores gross in India and around Rs 164 crores from overseas market. This is itself a big achievement for Ali Abbas Zafar directorial as Sultan is the third highest Bollywood grosser of all time after PK (Rs 340.84 crores) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 320 crores).

The dream run of Sultan has now come to its end and these just over a month during its tenure at the box office are surely one of the best days of Indian cinema. In between this period, Sultan has broken so many box office records.

Like, Sultan is the fastest entrant in 100 crore club, 150 crore club, 200 crore club and 250 crore club. It had set several new benchmarks for the others which will not easy to break. With more than Rs 229.16 crores coming in the first week itself, Sultan is the highest first week grosser of all time.

With every film, Salman is proving that he is the real Sultan of the box office with maximum numbers of blockbusters under his belt.
