Sultan 3rd day box office collections: Sultan becomes Salman Khan’s career’s best opener

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan has continued its dream run on 3rd consecutive day with mind blowing collections. Sultan 3rd day box office collections has gained Rs 31.50 crore, which is simply magnificent. Now, Sultan’s 3 days total box office collections reached to Rs 105.34 crore.

Sultan, which released on Wednesday, has been performing phenomenal at the Indian box office and managed to achieve some milestone benchmarks. After collecting record breaking numbers of Rs 36.54 crore on Wednesday and Rs 37.30 crore on Thursday, all were waiting for Friday’s collections.

Despite, Friday was a working day, all thought that Sultan could fell down below 30 crore mark but Salman Khan’s loyal fan followers reached in massive numbers on 3rd consecutive day and the result is 30 plus crore.

Although, without any doubt, we know that the blind popularity of Salman Khan is the reason behind these mind boggling numbers but another sure reason of this storm at the box office is the wonderful story, dialogues, screenplays and direction of Ali Abbas Zafar and proper execution altogether which works in favour of the makers.

Nobody should discard the importance of Anushka Sharma in the film, whose superb performance as Aarfa is the back bone of Sultan.

About the box office records, the list is pretty long. First of all, Sultan has now become 3rd film of 2016 that entered the much anticipated 100 crore club. For Salman too, this is his 10th century of his career.

Sultan has now becomes third highest grossing film of the year after Akshay Kumar‘s Airlift (Rs 127.80 crore) and Housefull 3 (Rs 108 score). It is now 3rd highest grosser of 2016 surpassing Fan (Rs 85 crore).

Apart from this, one more rare box office record has been associated with Sultan.This Yash Raj Productions venture is the only film in the history of Hindi cinema which consistently collected 30 plus crore on first three days of its release.

However, Sultan has just missed another fantastic achievement of becoming biggest all time first three days grossers shortly from Shah Rukh Khan starrer Happy New Year which currently way ahead of all with Rs 108 crore.

But no worries as the two biggest days (Saturday and Sunday) are commencing from today and huge number of people still waiting to watch Sultan on these two days.

Without any doubt, we assure you that another 30 plus crore collections are coming in these two days, even 35 plus crore is also on cards with Sunday would be the biggest single day for Sultan (40 plus crore) due to Sunday and you will see the some unbelievable numbers.
