Sultan 3rd week box office collections: Day 23 of the blockbuster remains steady

Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial venture Sultan remains steady on its 23rd day at the Indian box office. Salman Khan starrer has collected Rs 15.84 crore in 3rd week and reached to the total of Rs 293.80 crore.


Sultan is now on slower side as it has entered its week no.4 and also some new releases now affects its smooth run at the box office

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer sports-drama has brought in Rs 1.05 crore on its 4th Thursday, which clearly signifies that Sultan is now towards its final run at the box office with Dishoom featuring Varun Dhawan and John Abraham has been arrived today, that clinched most of the screens from it.

This Yash Raj Films product has so far become huge profitable project as it has earned the profit percentage of 226 % just one place short of Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja, which had gained 260% profit from the box office.


Sultan is currently moving on toughest terrain of 300 crore club which is an interesting thing to see in the coming days

At the Worldwide arena, Sultan overall collections now reached to Rs 562.82, third best after PK (Rs 792 crores) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 626 crores). In overseas, Sultan has raked in Rs 151.92 crores and positioned on 7th highest overseas grosser behind Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name is Khan (Rs 154 crores).

Meanwhile, with the coming in of Dishoom, Sultan will now further witness some more fallout in  coming days and from here 300 crores race is quite difficult now and for that, it has to be performed exceptionally well.

On the other hand, Rajinikanth starrer Kabali has shattered the global box office with more than 250 crore came from its first week. In North Indian circuits, Kabali has so far grossed around Rs 40 crores, which is exceptionally superb for this Tamil ganster-action-drama.
