Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan has collected Rs 4.43 crore in its 4th week. On 4th Thursday i.e. its 30th day, Sultan has managed to get in Rs 33 lakhs more to the total and reached to Rs 298.23 crore.
Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is still getting a few number of screens, especially in North India and doesn’t fade away from the picture. While, Rajinikanth starrer Kabali, which released two weeks after Sultan has now evicted from most parts of the country but Salman Khan’s sports-drama holds pretty well even after 30 days.
At worldwide, Sultan has so far grossed Rs 578.55 crores that include Rs 417.55 crore gross from Indian markets plus Rs 161 crores from overseas.
However, it is now sure and shot that Sultan will not become 3rd film after PK (2014) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) to cross 600 crore mark worldwide and will finish its run around Rs 580 plus crores.
Meanwhile, Sultan has made a profit percentage of 231 % and currently stands at 2nd position in the list of highest profitable films of 2016. Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja is on top with the profit percentage of 260%.
As of now, there is not much competition is coming from the fresh releases such as Budhia Singh: Born To Run and The Legend of Michael Mishra. These two films have limited release and restricted to a separate class of audience.
So, Sultan will run smoothly for one more week and it would definitely cross the much awaited 300 crore mark in coming days.
