Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan has completed its 4th weekend successfully at the box office. On day 26th i.e. Sunday, Sultan has shown a decent rose and collected Rs 1.51 crore. Now its total box office collections have reached to Rs 296.86 crore.
Although, it was expected that Sultan would lose all its shine due to the arrival of Varun Dhawan and John Abraham starrer action-adventure flick Dishoom, which also opened with fantastic collections but Sultan surprised everyone with a fine hold on 4th weekend.
In Split, Sultan has raked in Rs 57 Lakhs on 4th Friday, Rs 98 Lakhs on Saturday and The biggest Rs 1.51 crore on Sunday, that looks outstanding.
In overseas, Sultan has now reached to the total of Rs 154.10 crore, that means this Ali Abbas Zafar directorial now becomes 6th highest overseas Bollywood grosser surpassing Shah Rukh Khan starrer My Name is Khan (Rs 154 crore).
Overall, Sultan has managed to bring Rs 569.41 at worldwide and tighten its grip on 3rd highest all time Bollywood grosser.
Eventually, Sultan has now gone closer to 300 crore and with the way people still showed a very good interest in the film. The 300 crore club will surely on cards and if all goes well according to the plan, it will touch that milestone mark at the end of this 5th weekend.
Till date, only two Bollywood films PK (2014) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) have managed to enter 300 crore club.
