With two big films Rustom and Mohenjo Daro have arrived at the screens, finally, the time has come to say goodbye to Salman Khan starrer blockbuster film Sultan to end its dream run at the box office.
Rustom and Mohenjo Daro have almost occupied around 95% screens all over the country and with several new Hollywood releases, Sultan has finished its lifetime at the end of this weekend.
On 36th day i.e its 6th Thursday at the office, Sultan has managed to get in Rs 14 lakhs from the Indian markets and pushed its 5th-week total box office collections to Rs 300.35 crores.
Although the final lifetime numbers of this sports-drama have yet to come but it would probably around Rs 301 crore, which is a mind-blowing figure for this one more biggest money spinners of Salman Khan.
Currently, Sultan is the highest grossing Bollywood film of 2016 and at present only Aamir Khan’s Dangal has the ability to challenge Sultan. Dangal is also a sports biopic to be hit the theatres on 23rd December 2016.
Till then, Sultan will certainly enjoy the winning streak and ride on 3rd spot of the highest all time Bollywood grossers.
