Sultan 8th day box office report: Salman Khan starrer keeps rock solid

Yesterday, on its 1st Wednesday, it has collected a staggering amount of Rs 10.82 crore and reached to the total of Rs 219.64 crore.

The magic of box office king Salman Khan has been continued in the weekday too. one can’t even believe that Sultan has nurtured Rs 39 crores in the weekdays, that is something rarely happens in Bollywood.

With each passing day, Sultan is breaking some big box office records and still some big ones to be achieved in the coming days.

On Wednesday, despite a working day seen a decent occupancy around 30 to 40 percent and in the evening and night shows got even 45- 50% footfalls which are itself telling the magnificent run of this Ali Abbas Zafar directorial.

You are wondering that Sultan shows a heavy fallout as compared to the yesterday’s total but this kind of numbers achieving by Sultan in weekdays, most of the films not even do this in its first three days. That is something incredible.

If we talk about box office records, Sultan has now become 7th all time highest grossing Bollywood film by surpassing Prem Ratan Dhan Payo ( Rs 208.88 crore). For Salman, this is his third 200 crore grosser after Kick (Rs 231 crore) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. He has also one film in 300 crore club i.e. Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 320.34 crore).

By the end of this day, Sultan will surely take off the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chennai Express (Rs 227.13 crore) and by tomorrow, it will go past Salman’s Kick (Rs 231 crore).

The next two days will also keep in the range of 8 – 9 crores due to the arrival of Great Grand Masti but because it is an adult film, so Sultan will again pick up in the second weekend as more family people will come to watch this wrestling drama.
