Bollywood superstar Salman Khan‘s highly anticipated film of the year Sultan has created history by collecting record breaking amount on its first weekend. Sultan first weekend collections would shock you because it has reached to Rs 180.36 crore in five days.
The last day of Sultan first weekend collections was the biggest one and it gets over Rs 38.21 crore as it was Sunday and a huge number of people has witnessed this wrestling based film of the box office king.
With this, Sultan is setting new benchmarks of the Hindi film industry and it will be very difficult for others to even match up with these numbers. For the very first, a Hindi film’s box office collections has gone over this mark in first weekend.

Although, Sultan had the luxury of enjoying an extended five days weekend with one big festive occasion of Eid but then also this kind of numbers comes out of box office are something extraordinary which had only done by Salman Khan.
After going through Sultan first weekend collections, we have to say that Salman Khan has proved himself as the real box office king of Bollywood and nobody has ever matched him as per the box office numbers.

The footfalls on Sunday was the highest among the whole weekend and for the first time, the score of a single day has gone past Rs 40 crore. However, Sultan marginally short of the highest single day collection of Shah Rukh Khan‘s Happy New Year (Rs 44.80 crore).
If we talk about the box office records, Sultan has already broken so many box office records. In addition, in flat 5 days of its run, Sultan has surpassed the lifetime total of many big films like Dabangg 2 (Rs 158.50), Tanu Wed Manu Returns (Rs 152 crore), Bodyguard (Rs 142 crore), Dabangg (Rs 145 crore), Dilwale (Rs 148 crore) and Singham Returns (Rs 141 crore).
Since the day, Sultan hit the screens, it has been achieving new feets and now within 5 days it is closed to enter 200 crore club. Within 2 days from now, it will get pass 200 crore and will become fastest film to cross this milestone.
Sultan has already became Highest grossing film of 2016 on Saturday and now with this kind of going we can expect from Sultan to cross the lifetime collections of all time highest Bollywood grossers PK (Rs 340 crore) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 320 crore).
For Salman, this will be his 3rd 200 crore grossers after Kick (2014) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). He has also a 300 crore grosser in his belt.
