Thug: Amitabh Bachchan confirms to collaborate with Aamir Khan

Now this is the biggest news of the day for sure. Bollywood’s Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan, who is gearing up for his next film Pink has today confirmed that he is collaborating with Aamir Khan and Yash Raj Films in upcoming action-thriller Thug.

In a recently concluded chat with a Bollywood news portal, Big B said that it is a great honour and privilege to work with Aamir and to be working again with Yash Raj Films and also with Victor (Vijay Krishna Acharya).

Bachchan also added that he is looking forward to this film, which will go on the floors in 2017. This is itself a big news for the fans and now officially it has got sealed by Big B himself.


This will be the first occasion that Amitabh and Aamir will share the screen space together

Thug is an upcoming action-thriller to be directed by Victor of the popular thrilling franchise film Dhoom 3 (2013) famed. Dhoom 3 is one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time.

Earlier, Hrithik was offered the titular role but all not went right between him and the producers. The grave wines were aired that Hrithik had demanded whopping fees of Rs 60 crores for the film but Aditya Chopra, producer of Thug was not agreed on this amount and Hrithik left out of the project.

After that, this role had been passed on to Mr. perfectionist Aamir Khan, who liked the script and immediately gave his nod for the film. Although the character details and the female lead’s information have not been revealed by Amitabh as he has not the permission to disclose the secrets.

However, for fans, this is the biggest surprise given by Big B and now all eyes will be on this film, which might hit the screens by the end of 2017 or in 2018.

Amitabh’s Pink, in which he is playing the role of an advocate is scheduled to hit the screens on 16t September 2016.
