Here is the official trailer of upcoming autobiographical film Buddha in a Traffic Jam featuring Anupam Kher, Arunoday Singh, Pallavi Joshi and Mahi Gill. It is basically a social political drama reflecting our society.
Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, Buddha in a Traffic Jam is a story based on true incidents and exposes the evil politics supporting the nexus of Naxals, NGOs and academic institutions of the country. The film will show you how some of the top notch Universities of our country brainwashing our students to become intellectual terrorists. The film also takes a dig on corruption, campus politics, moral policing, crony socialism and the aspirational India. It also investigate deep into the relevance of socialism and capitalism in a poverty and corruption ridden India seeking to become a superpower.
Buddha in a Traffic Jam is a cult film reflecting our society. It has already been officially nominated and premiered at the Mumbai International Film Festival in 2014. It also won the Best actor i.e. Pallavi Joshi and nominated for the best film in Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. The film also went on to premier at Madrid Film Festival and Jakarta Film Festival.
Recently the film had been showcased to the students of Delhi’s Jawaharlal University and received the standing ovation from the students. The makers have also planned to show the film in various other prestigious institutions of the country for the awareness about what is happening in our country.
Anupam Kher has also played a very important role in the film and he is currently on the country’s tour to promote the film which is produced by Suresh Chukapalli, Ravi Agnihotri, Sharad Patel, Shreyanshi Patel, Pranay Chokski and Vivek Agnihotri.
Buddha in a Traffic Jam is scheduled to hit the screens on 13th May 2016.
